DNTU FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDENTS JOIN 2026 YOUTH CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM IN JEOLLANAM PROVINCE, SOUTH KOREA
From August 24 to 27, 2026, a delegation of students from Dong Nai University of Technology (DNTU) represented the city’s youth in the Youth Cultural Exchange Program in Jeollanam Province, South Korea. The program was a meaningful youth diplomacy initiative aimed at realizing the cooperation agreement between the two localities while fostering DNTU students’ spirit of international integration.

The program was jointly organized by the People’s Committee of Dong Nai City and Jeollanam Province, South Korea. The delegation comprised representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Office of the City People’s Committee, the Youth Union, and 15 outstanding students from universities and colleges across the city.
Among them, Dong Nai University of Technology (DNTU) was honored to have four outstanding students from the Oriental Studies program under the Faculty of Foreign Languages participate in the cultural exchange program:

The selected students were outstanding individuals with strong academic records, good Korean communication skills, and active participation in extracurricular, cultural, and artistic activities.
Throughout the four-day program, from August 24 to 27, 2026, the youth delegation took part in a diverse range of cultural exchange and academic activities:
Welcome & Local Promotion: The delegation attended an official welcome ceremony hosted by the Jeollanam provincial authorities and learned about the history, culture, and development potential of the host locality.

Academic Exchange: The delegation attended a student exchange program at the Yeosu Campus of Jeonnam National University. During the program, DNTU students confidently introduced the dynamic learning environment at DNTU, showcased the beauty of Vietnamese culture, and actively engaged in discussions and exchanges with their Korean peers.

Cultural Experiences: The delegation participated in a kimchi-making workshop and visited scenic attractions, historical sites, and distinctive cultural spaces across Jeollanam Province.


The program not only provided students with a valuable opportunity to experience an international environment firsthand, but also helped them enhance their intercultural communication, foreign language, and teamwork skills. The DNTU students’ proactive engagement, professional demeanor, and culturally distinctive performances left a positive and lasting impression on their international peers.

The successful conclusion of the trip further affirmed Dong Nai University of Technology’s commitment to application-oriented education and international integration, while contributing to strengthening the friendly and cooperative ties between Dong Nai City and Jeollanam Province, South Korea.
